An individual is stressed when she or he must make an effort to adapt to hers or his environment (a new job, a new boss, a newborn...).
Stress has become a problem of modern times.
It is the main cause of work related diseases and the main source of our imbalances.
Symptoms of stress are numerous and can be mental (lack of concentration, memory loss...), emotional (anxiety, outbursts, anger, keeping to oneself...), behavioral (loss of appetite, increased alcohol intake, aggressive driving...).
Stress is one of the factors that promotes the onset or the deterioration of many diseases such as: high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease, respiratory diseases, some cancers...
Stress is also one of the main causes of insomnia, lack of libido, weight gains, digestive problems, immune system deficiencies and skin problems.
I have designed a program for individuals to help reduce stress and give you some tools to help fight stress in most situations.
Each session starts with a short interview to allow you to explain your current situation.
You are fully dressed but no shoes or belts. You are either seated or laying down in a comfortable position. I use hand positions on or over specific parts of the body following my intuition.
Different protocols can be used to reinforce the relaxation benefits (aromatherapy, music...)..
Relaxation exercises are assigned to help you fight stress in day to day life.
A typical session lasts 45 to 60 minutes.
